Most clubs price by peak and off-peak, which treats 19:00 in January the same as 19:00 in July. Here the board follows the light. The last ninety minutes of it on Court No. 01 — starting half an hour before sunset, October to April — is the best padel you'll play all year. Members get first call on it.

Why it costs more
You’re paying for the light.
Court 01 faces west over the water. For the last ninety minutes of light the glare dies, the heat lets go, and the surface turns a colour the paint company doesn’t sell. It is the best place to stand in the emirate, and for years it cost the same as two o’clock.
Now it has a name and a time: the Hour, AED 320, members AED 272 with first call. The honest version of the pitch is that you are paying AED 320 for the sunset and the padel is included. Book it a few days out — more for a Thursday.
Fair warning, as always: the wind is onshore most evenings and it will move a lob. Bring a jacket for after.

The seasonal switch
In summer, the good light moves to dawn.
From May to September the good light is at the other end of the day. First Light, 06:00 — 07:30: the court is cool, the wind hasn’t woken up, and the water is flat. Same idea, same priority for members. The board changes over on the first of May and the first of October.
